Are these tabloids or magazines?

I know that tabloids are said to come in the form of a newspaper, like recycled paper sorta thing (like the National Inquisitor), but I've seen some magazines that look like tabloids to me, same format and layouts and everything. Are these tabloids too, like Star Magazine for instance?

If it is, what are some other tabloid magazines? I wanna know so I can ignore those from the shelves too and buy REAL magazines lol.
